While walking the floor at SHOT Show 2026, we made our way down to the basement and stopped by the Murdoch & Co booth to get a closer look at one of the more unique rifles of the show. The EM85 is essentially a near 1:1 take on the SA80, offered in A1, A2, and A3 style configurations that closely mirror the originals while benefiting from modern manufacturing and updated internal features. Honestly, a big part of the excitement around the EM85 is that we are finally getting something like this in the United States. Honestly, they look just like the military counterpart, and the use of real Enfield parts on the A1 and A2 really sell that authenticity. A lot of enthusiasts are happy to finally have a semi-automatic rifle that accurately captures the look and feel of the SA80 platform.
